Hi everyone! What a great ornament today!
Are we all enjoying the 12 Days of Handmade Christmas Ornaments???
I know I am!
I admit, I loved it so much that when Sarah from At Home with The Hinsons sent me that post last night, I right then and there made that ornament.
So here is my try at it. I love it. Probably because I really like ribbon. Thank you so much Sarah for particpating in the 12 Days of Handmade Ornaments.
AND I reloaded my craft supply (as if it was getting low!) and was able to do the ornament from Angie @ This and That.
I really like this one too, but don't look too close, I ran out of beads and the bottom is beadless - Gasp!
And she was right, the pictures do not do it justice, it's so much prettier in person.
Now, I must admit I am having trouble with Emily @ Not So Idle Hands' ornament. I bought some vellum tonight and my printer didn't do very well with the vellum paper. I tried scrapbook paper the other night but the paper just crinkled up in the ornament and I got frustrated.
So any ideas? Emily if you are out there, what do you think?
If I ever get it right I will be sure to post a picture of it.
Be sure to keep checking back. I will be announcing a BIG Giveaway on day 12 (our last day) and you won't want to miss out!
Tomorrow Melissa @ The Polka Dot Chair is bringing us a super adorable ornament idea - for those of you who enjoy sewing this is one for you!
See ya'll tomorrow!

Dani, I am so glad you liked it! I hope you have a wonderful holiday
I just found your blog! LOVE it! And love all the differet homemade ornaments! I have to go to the store now so I can buy stuff to try and make one! Thanks!
Hi Sheila, I am glad you are here! Yes my Joann stores habit has been BAD this past week. Kristin
Hi Kristen~sorry you've had a hard time :( Vellum can be fickle to print on. Before you print, go to the printer settings and try different settings, like "plain paper", or "cardstock" one of those should work. If one of those don't work, try "photo paper". It just depends on your printer. Otherwise, you can try bringing the pics into a copy store and have them print onto your vellum with a laser printer. Have fun!
