Bliss Rag Quilt

I just love it when this

quickly turns into this

This little rag quilt was fast, very fast ~ I have never made one before and it is so cute!You can't go wrong with the fabric. 

This is made from 2 Moda Bliss Charm Packs and

72 5 inch squares of Moda Natural (for the backing) that I already had

and 72 4 inch warm and natural batting squares (all cut from scraps)

I used this great tutorial found here at Creations By Kara.

So easy to put together!

And the raw edges are such a nice change.

Still lovin' my little labels from Sweetwater.

I originally had them printed with 2010 along the side,

so now that it is 2011, I just cut that part right off. 

Back to reality tomorrow, kiddos back in school, husband back to work.

Lots of cleaning and organizing and laundry around here today.

Getting ready for the new week.

I am really glad to get back to a routine.
