Just got back from seeing the space shuttle Atlantis take off.
We got as close as we could - the boys enjoyed seeing the launch, as well as the dog.

Lucky you!! My daughter is home from college and we watched it together today on the TV. How exciting to see something like that in person!!
My neighbor works at the Space Center and he was nice enough to take us there to watch the launch. It was fabulous!
