I debated posting this one.
These are my shoes from May 24th
We are almost three months away from this day.
I have new shoes now,
And healing is happening,for me and all of my boys.
I have two very lovely scars on my legs which hide the bullet fragments underneath.
But these shoes are in my closet, and I see them think about that day.
We are blessed.
Day 16 - What I ate
I haven't eaten anything today,
but the diet coke is like my coffee (which I absolutely hate)
One day I will stop this little addiciton.

I had a "coke" habit. Started as recreational and then became habitual. I hid it from people and was ashamed. I have been clean and sober since November. There were some enablers along the way that did not want to see me suffer with out my drug of choice and there were people that liked me on it b/c I was a functioning addict. One day I was flipping through the channels and Dr. Oz told me to give it up. I took it as sign. I miss it. But I am better without it. I do not take drug addiction lightly but coca cola to me is like heroin to others. I have given it multiple times and hopefully it is for good this time. Good luck
