Just some random stuff I wanted to post this weekend.
I finished my Central Park baby quilt last night.
Its a scrappy little jelly roll quilt.
Very cute fabric.
Straight line quilting is not as easy as it looks but I am growing to love it.
Its a pretty little spring quilt.
And spring has definitely sprung here in Florida.
And even more stuff...
My selvage collection is getting better and better.
I love selvages. But what to do with them?!?!?
I just keep saving them.
One day I will do something wonderful with them.
This little pattern has been itching to get out of my head for a week now
so I finally wrote it down.
We'll see how it turns out very soon.
And lastly I found some
Katie Jump Rope fabric
at this wonderful little quilt store in Wisconsin.
I saw this post at Canoe Ridge Creations and called the
Olive Juice Quilts store.
They had 11 different Katie Jump Fabrics and I got 11 fat quarters sent out.
They included a very nice thank you note, I will definitely buy from them again.
I think I will use the sliced coins quilt tutorial found at
Don't Call me Betsy for this fabric. This will be my next quilt.
Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Oh how I LOVE this fabric! Looks so great! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what you do with all those selvage scraps!
Love the quilt and especially the vivid colors!! I've seen on a blog before where they used all their selvage to make a quilt but I can't remember where I saw it.
Yay! :) So glad you were able to get some Katie Jump Rope from them!
Your Central Park quilt is beautiful. I love the fabric you chose for the binding... It looks perfect! Your new fabric is lovely, too. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Oh my goodness! I love this quilt design and the fabric colors. I just started sewing quilt tops 2 years ago and I have yet to make my own FULL quilt, but I am about to start. Love your blog. Can't wait to see what you do next.
