Making a Quilt - Blocks

Slowly by surely I am making progress on my apple quilt

4 blocks are complete and sewn together
but I might need to spend some time with the seam ripper.
The seams are a little crooked...UGH, we'll see.

Out of all of these ADORABLE fabrics, I like small apples with the black background best.

So there is my progress.

And while I was snapping these quilt block photos I found EVIDENCE of FALL in Florida on the ground.

Seriously, red leaves in my backyard.
I was shocked to see these leaves coming from our crape myrtle tree.

So I gathered them up to show my little guys when they get home from school.
Those boys are the best, EVERY time they see a slightly changed leaf on the ground they pick it up and give it to me because they know how much mommy
loves the changing leaves.

Sweet Babies!

The cold front is coming,
this weekend it will be cool ~ at least that is what the weathermen promise.
FINALLY!!!!

Oh my, I'm in love! I love the little apples too, do you remember what it's called?

Fall finally arrived to Texas also! I haven't found any pretty leaves yet, but it's a chilly 48 degrees right now :)
