Bloggers Quilt Festival

I am sharing my newest quilt made of Denyse Schmidt's fabrics,
Flea Market Fancy & Picnics and Fairgrounds.

I have been working on a lot of other things lately and wanted to make a quick and simple quilt this weekend.
I missed the whole Flea Market Fancy craze when it came out so I am paying for it now.
I found etsy and ebay sites here and there for some "reasonable" purchases and the fabric has been staring at me for awhile now.
I added some of the new Picnics and Fairgrounds that I thought go well with the FMF.
I really like the new line.

I am still learning so much about quilting.
One thing is for sure that sometimes you need to be able to
start and finish a project quickly.
Other times its nice to have a long term project (ummm, my single girl quilt)

Thank you Amy for organizing the Bloggers Quilt Festival again!
I absolutely love seeing all of the other quilters out there.

Very sweet! I love the random white squares. You're right about needing a quick finish sometimes!

I have just started following your blog and love it - particularly your beautiful quilts - I am a crafter, seamstress and mum to two boys in Norfolk, UK and hope to attept one of your quilts - perhaps for a mat in the bathroom as a beginner.
