As of August 11th, this little guy looked like this...

As of August 12th, he looked like this! Wow, that was fast.
We are waiting on our butterfly - very exciting!

Big J with the little veggie garden.

So many projects!

I have been busy, busy, busy with projects every night, these are some of the completed ones.
All of these projects are from

Here I am snapping away with my Nikon - I love my camera and will soon be taking a class at Crealde School. I am anxiously awaiting my camera strap cover - not too many details, someone else is getting one soon, fun surprise!
Yes, I am wearing my new handmade headband!

A new pillow - some added color in our too tan/brown room.

2 Headbands

A Mod Podge Star - nice from far away, needs improvement, the white fabric didn't cover so well. Maybe another layer.

A tutu for my niece - cute!

and me sewing away!

Back to the Butterflies!

Took the boys back to Lukas Nursery today to visit the butterfly encounter again. These are some shots of their amazing butterflies fluttering around us. I enjoyed it but got lots of "mom, can we go yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttt????

Goodness, two boys were in need of naps (or pappers as we call them at our house) when they got home.

Such a tough day when mommy takes you to Friendly's for lunch (ice cream included!) and then to see some butterflies at a huge nursery.
Looking forward to preschool starting back up on the 31st! Yes I am!

My "happy" little helpers. "Mom, I don't want to take a picture"

STOP taking my picture!

I think that Lil J's shirt should been Oscar the Grouch intead of the Cookie Monster, and Big J put one on too!

Something cute for the puppy chow

Thought I would give my little lady Sadie a cute little placemat for her puppy chow, then she ate my daisies. Thanks Sadie!

Cute as buttons!

I made these little guys yesterday and I LOVE them!
What's not to love!

I found the tutorial at How About Orange.
I am going to do the magnets next, that one is also at

twirly skirt gone bad :(

I have been trying all evening to make a twirly skirt. You may ask, why are you making a twirly skirt when you have 2 boys??

One, it was SO cute, and two it was for my niece - the only little girl in my family.

So because of my novice skills and the fact that math failed me tonight, the adorable twirly skirt is now a structured mini skirt. I am sure my sister would just LOVE my giving her 2 year old a mini skirt.
I am learning very quickly that I like to get things on the first try - not the second or 100th try - the very first time. I will stick with this sewing thing and my niece will one day have a twirly skirt made by her Auntie KiKi.
I would have posted a pic of the the mini but it is late and I am too tired to take a pic, upload to the computer and get out in blog land. So to bed I said - Goodnight!
