All done

This boy is all done with pre-school and headed to kindergarten in just a few days.



Nothing but trouble, they get away with everything!

This little pack is splitting up, I'll miss picking them up in carpool and meeting for playdates and lunch in the middle of the day. 

Catching Up

Where to begin...maybe Spring Break

We traveled to Denver to see our cousins and to ski at Beaver Creek.

These kiddos did a great job on the plane, both ways.

Cutie Cousins!!

Last week of March and no snow anywhere so we had to travel even farther to see it.

But we found it.

We put our boys in 1/2 day ski school (their cousins are already experts) hoping to get lessons ourselves and that lasted for about an hour. 

Then we were spotted and the crying started and our kids dropped out of ski school.

So Uncle Keith tried and they learned a little bit but decided skiing wasn't for them.

But tubing was good so we spent lots of time tubing instead.

The cousins got along so well!  Great friends.

Its Done! - My Farmer's Wife Quilt

I started this quilt in July 2011 and 8 months later it's done.

Finally!!!

My Farmer's Wife Quilt

I did all of it.

The cutting (so much cutting!), the piecing and the quilting.

It is 72 blocks total. 

I planned on making all 111 blocks but I just couldn't do it.

The fabric is mainly Sunkissed from Sweetwater

but also some Flea Market Fancy

and Denyse Schmidt's new line called Aunt Edna

and other misc fabrics that I mixed in.

I alternated the blocks between a

square and diamond shape after seeing this one,

loved that idea.

So glad it is finished.

It is very hard to get a good picture of it by myself.

Hopefully I will get a better one soon!

My baby is 5

My little one turned 5 years old today.

Getting Ready for Christmas

 We are getting ready for Christmas around our house.

I finished this quilt that I started last year and never finished.

And the boys are thrilled that a little elf arrived at our house on the 1st.

They named him Freddie Rudolph.

He appeared in our house hanging upside down from a red zipline.

 We are ready for Christmas.
