I am working on so many projects and quilt a long's right now.
But first I have an actual finish!
(well 4 squares of it)
is done!!
DONE!
I wanted to make this a king size quilt,
and I made all of the cuts to make it king size.
But wow! This is a lot of work.
I completed these 4 blocks, quilted and bound them to make sure I really love it.
I do love it.
I have enough to make 16 blocks. But that might take some time.
So here is a mini-single girl!
Now my 2 quilt-a-longs...
This one is moving right along.
I have 3 blocks all done, 9 more to go.
I chose to make the smaller version.
And the Farmer's Wife QAL
I have 6 blocks so far.
They are addictive and I am really like them all so far.
Check out the flickr group for many more blocks.
I am going in alphabetical order and taking one from each letter of the alphabet as I go through the index.
So there you go,
hoping to make some more progress soon!
Love the mini single girl! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteOkay that apple may be the perfect block. I am doing this quilt along too and have stuck to Fresh Cottons because I was afraid going with scraps would be too overwhelming in such small blocks. I love your use of sunkissed. It looks great but that apple, priceless.
ReplyDeleteYour single girl mini looks lovely! And I love the fabrics you are choosing for the FWQAL - the blocks look great!
ReplyDeletei love how you've photographed and labeled each of your FWQAL blocks. they look really nice. the sgq is cute too! i actually stumbled upon someone's improv version on how to make a sgq in a much quicker, easier way, but i've since lost the link. i may try it sometime if i ever find it again, lol.
ReplyDeleteYour Single Girl quilt looks fantastic, Kristin! I don't blame you for stopping at 4 blocks for now... I don't know that I'd have gotten through ONE :) The quilting is awesome, too.
ReplyDeleteOh, so cute, ALL of it! I completely love the Farmer's Wife block with the apple! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
ReplyDeleteLove your FW blocks! I am finding it so difficult to resist this one! Maybe I can start a second wave of it once I get some things done!
